 Kajol's sis, Tanishaa braves inclement weather to reach the US city to bring in the New Year there, no matter whatTanishaa Mukerji seems to have a penchant to find herself as a damsel in disaster distress. In May, Kajol's sister was stuck in the political turmoil in Thailand during a film shoot. Now she has been caught in a snowcalpyso the term that is being used to describe the blizzard that is sweeping various parts of the West. The actress along with a group of friends had planned to usher in 2011 in Los Angeles. They had stopped in London enroute for Christmas. Things got awry for the actress at Heathrow airport itself. The raging snowstorm led to long delays and cancelled flights resulting in rescheduling. Finally, when she boarded a flight to New York, it was the same scenario at JFK airport. "I had to reschedule my flight yet again, " laments Tanishaa. "The weather threw everything off gear and upset my plans." From New York, she and her pals were to fly to Los Angeles. But the inclement climate made them fly to Miami instead where too they found themselves in a tight spot yet again due to the raging blizzards! But Tanishaa was determined to make it to Los Angeles. She was keen to usher in 2011 with her favourite spin doctor DJ Tiesto who is performing in LA. Much to her chagrin, it took her five days to reach LA from London with one of her baggage pieces missing! "It has been a nightmare waiting endlessly at airports for the flight to take off from the but finally I have reached my destination." She is slated to return to Mumbai by January 13 after which she begins another schedule of Sai Kabir's Chemistry that has Soha Ali Khan and Shreyas Talpade as her co-stars. |
