Good news for those, who are waiting to watch Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan together on screen. The duo will appear as a mother-son pair in Goldie Behl�s forthcoming film Drona. However, Goldie Behl, one of Abhishek Bachchan�s childhood friends hasn�t worked on any film after his directorial debut film Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai in 2001. It is believed that Drona will be a big budget movie and apart from Jaya and Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra will been seen in the main lead. Eros International has announced the release dates of its key forthcoming releases GOD TUSSI GREAT HO and DRONA. GOD TUSSI GREAT HO will release on the Independence Day weekend [15th August], while DRONA will hit the screens on another holiday weekend, Thursday, 2nd October on the occasion of Idd and Gandhi Jayanti.Some other releases from the Eros line-up in the coming quarter include MEHBOOBA on 11th July, followed by MONEY HAI TOH HONEY HAI on 25th July and HIJACK on 29th August.
The one person besides Abhishek who was really baffled to be informed about Abhishek's body-building plans was his producer Shrishti Behl. After reading that Abhishek intended to go bare-chested for Drona, Shrishti called up Abhishek to complain. "You've decided to develop your musles, shave you chest and go bare-bodied for Drona. And you haven't even told us, the producers. Not fair!"Actually, Abhishek himself was unaware of his sinewy plans. But then as his much wittier and far more wry dad says, "Nowadays we've to read in the papers and watch on television every morning to know what we're doing in our lives."For the record Abhishek has no bare-chested scenes in Drona or any other film. He's intrinsically shy about undressing or making love on camera. In fact one of the reasons why he turned down Mira Nair's The Namesakewas a stripping and kissing sequence. Abhishek's loss was Kal Penn's gain.

Priyanka agreed and broke her nose in the basketball court! Priyanka however has a golden, kind heart. After coming across the aforementioned incident, one would be forced to think otherwise. But Priyanka was never a heartless girl after all. The very next day, she went to the hospital to see her �victim� with flowers. She thinks it was a very gentle act as she was still scared of facing her that day. Today, decades later Priyanka�s good deeds make her shine proving that one incident actually is not sufficient proof of somebody�s nature. Not many will be aware of the fact that actress-MP Jaya Bhaduri had slipped and fallen down and injured her ankle during the Bikaner schedule of Goldie Behl's Abhishek starrer 'Drona'.According to her megastar husband Amitabh Bachchan, the incident had taken place last month, while Jaya was stepping down the stairs, on the sets of the film. However, Jaya did not take the injury seriously and neglected it and it is only now being realized that the ankle injury was quite grave and it has now aggravated. We wish her a speedy recovery!
Drona the film directed by Goldie Behl starring Bollywood biggies like Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra seems to be under trouble even before its release.The director is facing an unusual problem not with the actors or producers but with animals. A horse died on the sets while shooting on Thursday at Kolyath in Bikaner. The Bishnoi community lodged a complaint with two independent NGO�s namely People for Animal and Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. According to the NGO�s, the horse was buried without a post-mortem. However the producers beg to differ and claim that there was no cruelty towards animals. Infact they hadn�t even started the shoot and weren�t there for enough hours to be cruel to animals.
