Mahindra navistar announces its truck mn25 at 14.99 L

Another launch from Mahindra groups includes its 25-tonne-capacity multi-axle truck MN 25. They are also looking forward to start the sales for this product from next quarter of this year itself. The price of MN 25’s Bharat Stage (BS) -II model is Rs. 14.99 lakh. The BS III is always readily available and the improved version BS IV will be made available as per the customer need and requirements.

The capital investment made by Mahindra group is about Rs 1000 crores. In this 350 crores is utilized for manufacturing of engines alone. As the sale is done at rapid pace, the company is facing shortage in components. The shortage is mainly among the three areas, tyres, casting and fuel injection equipment. It’s because of this shortage of components there is decline of about 5 to 7 percent in their output. As a next step the group is also playing to export their trucks to almost all parts expect North America including South America, Africa, Europe and Non-European countries.

In a non-stop full loop of Delhi-Kolkata-Chennai-Mumbai-Delhi which is commonly nicknamed as the Golden Quadrilateral, the car was found the fastest and the most fuel efficient drive in the expedition.The team covered a distance of 5941km and completed the drive in 75 hours and 32 minutes with an average speed of 79 kmph. The average fuel efficiency recorded was 10.26 kmpl as the car consumed only 584.46 liters of diesel. The car used for this drive was a standard model and did not undergo any modifications. The data will be soon submitted to the Limca Book of Records.
