




She started her career as an aspiring model. Shreya started her movie acting career with the Telugu film Ishtam (2001) it was not a succes in the box office. Soon she signed for Nagarjuna's Santosham (2002), which was a major hit and she didn't have to turn back since then. She made her Tamil movie debut in "Enakku 20 Unakku 18" in 2003, casted along with actor Tharun, Trisha Krishnan. Her later movies in Telugu, such as Nuvve Nuvve and Bhageeratha, earned her many accolades. Shreya Saran had the biggest hits in her career with Chatrapati opposite Prabhas.
Her first Bollywood film 'Shukriya' was a big success in the box office. But now at 22, southern siren Shriya Saran has not only played lady love to superstar Rajnikant in his magnum opus 'Shivaji: The Boss', she is now all set to try her luck in Bollywood again with 'Awarapan'.
