Sony shells out Rs 35 crore for 3 Idiots` 50 airingsThe satellite rights of Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots, which released in December, have been picked up by Sony for a whopping Rs 35 crore for 50 airings over five years.

And the rights to air last week's release Kites have been sold to Colors for a rumoured price of Rs 20 crore. Buzz is that these rights were sold even before the film's release.

Gravitas Ventures and UTV have inked a deal in which latest movies from UTV will be available on Video On Demand for Bollywood aficionados in the US.

Prakash Jha's Raajneeti releases on June 4 and in early August, the movie will be available on demand.

This will be followed by Aaamir Khan's Peepli Live which releases on August 13. Six weeks after its release it will debut across North America on VOD.

The DVD of The Loins Of Punjab Presents is out. So if you hadn't caught the film while it was in theatres, now is the time to do it.
