Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI) 2010

From the large number of entries received across India from the Audition and Call For Entries Round, the Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI) 2010 today showcased beauties who after all the hard work and patience were lucky to make it to the National Shortlist Round in Mumbai. Post the event today, the final lot of contestants who will be a part of the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2010 journey will be decided.

This year the judges for the National Shortlist Round were Neha Dhupia (Bollywood actress and Femina Miss India Universe 2002), Tanushree Dutta (Bollywood actress and Femina Miss India Universe 2004), Marc Robinson (Fashion Director and Contestant Director, PFMI 2010).These judges were assigned the comprehensive task of evaluating the finest from the spectacular bevy of beauties. The contestants displayed great confidence and attitude which left the judges impressed and made their task of selecting the finalists difficult.

Mr. Marc Robinson, Fashion Director and Contestant Director, PFMI 2010 and undoubtedly, one of India's foremost and most important fashion icons stated, "PFMI in its global avatar and universal reach today undoubtedly and unequivocally offers the best platform to aspiring beauty queens in the glamour, fashion and film industry. The final contestants selected for the main pageant are a privileged lot as in the coming days in the line up to the main pageant they will experience a life time of an opportunity and get to live life Queen Size."

Tanushree Dutta, stated, "I am honoured to be a part of national shortlist round, I just hope that as a judge I am fair, its a huge responsibility because winning the pageant 6years back in 2004 changed my life completely and I am hoping that now I should be an instrument in guiding more girls like me."

Neha Dhupia said, "Miss India is a life changing platform for all the contestants. Even if you are not a winner, you gain an experience and a memory of a lifetime. Winning the crown was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I am extremely excited to be on the panel of judges this year and I am sure all the beautiful contestants will make our job very tough."
